Senior Oracle Developer
We are seeking highly skilled, positive and professional candidates with strong Oracle application development experience to perform design, development and support of software applications.
The Senior Oracle Developer assumes a technical lead role on the application development team. This position is responsible for the performance of all functions involved in the development of new applications or the support/maintenance/customization of existing applications. Will be responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and problem solving within a business applications environment. Will support existing business systems applications and work directly with clients to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions. Will be responsible for providing technical direction and work assignments to staff developers.
Duties:

- Develop and modify Oracle Forms and Reports, conduct data and process analysis, create solution design, create functional and technical specs, code, test, debug, implement and document.
- Define and document business requirements, process modeling, and business case use and workflow analysis.
- Provide leadership in resolving complex technical and business issues.
- Develop Data Conversions processes
- Work with clients and technical staff to ensure that engagements and projects properly reflect business needs
- Provide a lead role in the development of application solutions
- Facilitate the workflow and provide technical direction, leadership and mentoring to the Development staff members.
- Define, develop and execute application tests and deployment plans to ensure highest delivery quality and client satisfaction
- Provide on-going system and end user support
- Coordinate, track, manage and complete assigned projects and tasks through the entire project life cycle.
Qualifications:
Required Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and IT work experience.
- Excellent coding skills and knowledge; Very strong 3 plus years in PL/SQL and minimum 2 years experience with Oracle Forms (4, 4.5, 6 or 6i) and Oracle Reports.
- Expert knowledge and 4-7 years of experience gather requirements, designing, developing/customizing, testing and implementing business software applications.
- Extensive experience developing and supporting software applications.
- Client Management skills are also required and the candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage the work of multiple developers assigned to various components of development projects.
- Must have the ability to interact with clients, analyze and document requirements and design solutions, troubleshoot technical problems, manage the complete development life cycle and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Sharp analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to our clients and your peers to do quality work.
- Highly professional and customer focused.
- Team player and ability to excel in a small company environment.
Desired Attributes:
- Experience developing/customizing modules of an ERP application;
- Experience with the core business processes of accounting, distribution, manufacturing and project accounting;
- Knowledge of many programming languages, platforms and operating systems;
- OCP certification;
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite;
- Recent experience in Oracle Forms 5.0 or above, reports 3.0, Oracle Portal and JAVA.
